A new deal to keep conducting races in Barcelona may yet come to pass, according to F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
Before this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix, on Wednesday, the Italian was spotted in downtown Barcelona with some forty thousand residents at a promotional event where Jack Doohan of Alpine and Carlos Sainz of Ferrari drove display vehicles.

Barcelona’s city center event was intended to show Formula 1 that holding two grand prix in Spain could be feasible for upcoming calendars, because Madrid is scheduled to join the series in 2026.
