According to Turkish journalist Burhan Can Terzi (h/t SPORT), Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan reportedly has aspirations of representing Galatasaray before retiring from professional football.
Terzi asserts that representatives from the Turkish club recently held a meeting with Gundogan in Germany, although the details of their conversation remain undisclosed.

Gundogan’s like, ‘Yo, I’m almost done with this whole football career thing, and I really wanna rock the Galatasaray jersey before I hang up my boots,’ according to the reporter.
He also mentioned that Gundogan is open to having a conversation with Barça about this matter.
